Tiglio Campsite Rules

Upon arrival, the Management invites guests to hand over their documents for registration. The campers can choose the pitch they wish after getting the Management’s consent.

The pitch can be occupied only within its boundaries and with only one car. Any extra cars will be charged. The entrance to the camping resort is subject to the Management’s consent.

Check-in is between 8 am and 8 pm, check-out is between 8 am and 12 noon. In case of a later check-out that has not been agreed upon with Management, the whole day will be charged.

Visits are allowed until 11 pm and are free of charge for a maximum stay of one hour. In the event of a longer stay, the entire day will be charged.

All visitors’ cars and vehicles must be left outside the campsite. However, the Management reserves the right to prohibit the entry of visitors.

The office is open from 9 am to 12 and from 4 pm to 8 pm.

It is strictly forbidden to circulate with motor or electric vehicles inside the campsite from 1 pm to 3 pm and from 11 pm to 7 am. The maximum speed allowed is 10 Km/h. For the safety of children and the tranquility of the campsite, cyclists are also advised not to exceed this speed.

Dogs or other animals are allowed only in compliance with the hygiene/sanitary rules established by the authorities. Dogs must be kept on a leash and led outside the campsite for their hygienic walks.

Noises that could disturb other campers are strictly prohibited from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 11 pm to 7 am. Please respect your neighbors.

Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children. Please take care that they don’t disturb other campers. Younger children must be accompanied by an adult to the toilets, the playground and the swimming pool. Minors are admitted only if accompanied by their parents or relatives of age.

The use of the playground and camping equipment is at your own risk. Management declines all responsibility for accidents of any kind that may occur at the campsite.

The collaboration of our guests is essential for keeping the toilets clean. Sinks, basins and chemical toilets must be used according to the instructions. Please leave the sanitary facilities in the conditions in which you would like to find them.

It is strictly forbidden to damage the plants and equipment of the campsite as well as to dig ditches around the tents, pour boiling, salty or waste liquids into the ground and light fires outdoors. It is strictly forbidden to tamper with the electrical systems and introduce firearms or other offensive objects.

Whoever finds a lost object at the campsite is requested to hand it over to Management who will return it to its owner.

No announcements are made with the loudspeaker to celebrate birthdays, report lost objects and/ or animals and for other reasons that are not strictly related to campsite management.

Waste must be disposed of in the appropriate containers and enclosed in bags. As far as possible, it is recommended to avoid pulling laundry lines between trees. It is forbidden to occupy free pitches as well as other spaces not used for camping, even temporarily.

Pitches cannot be changed except with Management’s explicit consent. The assigned pitch must be kept clean and tidy. Any abusive works will be removed without notice.

If the campsite staff learns that a pitch is occupied by more people than those declared at the check-in, a daily rate increased by 50% per redundant person will be charged. In any case, the Management has the right to remove the entire group from the campsite.

The use of grills and barbecues is allowed only in the ways and with the weather conditions that do not constitute danger and/or disturbance to the other guests of the campsite. However, the use of such complementary equipment remains at the risk, danger and responsibility of the user.

Any faults in the equipment and/or inefficiencies must be promptly reported to Management, who guarantees, as far as possible, prompt intervention.

In the event of disputes between camping guests and complaints about the behavior of other guests, please contact Management, who will take the appropriate measures. Self-righteousness is strictly forbidden!

Management reserves the right to immediately remove anyone who is responsible for vandalism, harassment or violation of the regulations.

Use of bicycles

Please be sure to explain to children that, despite the campsite being a safe place, they need to pay close attention to other people. The roads are not the Monza circuit, so training for the Tour of Italy is not allowed … There are no races to win!

Pool area

The lifeguard is not a babysitter, so children must be accompanied by an adult. The Management is not liable in the event of accidents of any kind occurring due to negligence or the abandonment of children by their parents/caregivers.

For hygienical reasons, it is permitted to enter the swimming pool area only wearing slippers and not shoes. The use of a bathing cap is mandatory for entering the pool.

It is forbidden to occupy the deckchairs with towels or other objects. In these cases, the lifeguard is authorized to remove personal items to allow other people to use the beds. Please be sensible and avoid unnecessary arguments.

The entrance and use of the swimming pools is subject to the regulations and timetables displayed at the entrance to the area.

Flat-rate contracts

The contract is concluded upon the arrival of the person with a caravan or a tent. The contract is in the name of the guests; therefore, only the persons registered in the contract have the right to stay. If the pitch is vacated for a certain period, no one has the right to occupy it for free, believing that the pitch has already been paid for.

No additional tents are allowed in the pitch paid under the flat rate. Visitors can stay in the caravan or the tent of the guests who have agreed upon the flat rate by they will have to pay a daily rate.

Complaints should be reported to Management! The right to complain is acquired only after having paid the flat rate. While ensuring the continuous surveillance of the campsite, Management is not liable for any theft or loss.

Campers should take care of their valuables. Management is not liable for vandalism and accidents due to causes that are not their liability as well as for damage to people or things deriving from natural disasters.

A public washing machine is available on the campsite for a fee. The installation and use of private washing machines are prohibited. Each pitch has a single power socket in the column. If more than one socket is used, Management has the right to disconnect, without prior notice, the sockets that are used without authorization.

All campers are reminded that, especially in periods of possible water shortage, it is forbidden to wash cars, caravans or other bulky objects using hoses and pipes from the water supply columns. Water is a precious resource and should not be wasted! It is also recommended not to let it flow unnecessarily (for example to refresh a watermelon …).

In the interest of all guests, the Management reserves the right to remove from the campsite all persons who seriously breach these regulations and misbehave, thus affecting the order and peace of the campsite.

These regulations can be changed and modified by the Management at any time. Any changes will be published on the website campingtiglio.it. A digital copy can be downloaded from the website and a hard copy can be consulted at the offices of the campsite.
