Sirmione: history, thermal baths and romance

Less than a 10-minute drive from the campsite lies Sirmione, the jewel of Lake Garda. The Scaligero Castle, the Grotte di Catullo and the historic town center by the lake make it one of the area's most charming destinations. You can stroll along the lakeside promenade, shop in the local boutiques or relax at the Terme di Sirmione, famous for the healing properties of its sulphurous waters.

Desenzano: the lively lakeside town

With its marina, shopping streets and lakeside bars, Desenzano del Garda is one of the area’s liveliest spots. Perfect for outdoor lovers, markets and lake-view aperitifs. Every Tuesday morning, the large weekly market offers local products, clothing and crafts. In the evening, the town comes alive with music and a relaxed atmosphere.

Peschiera del Garda: historic walls and boats

Peschiera is a fortified town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its Venetian walls, canals and historic center give it a unique atmosphere. From here, you can take a boat to explore the lake from a different perspective or go for a walk along the River Mincio. It’s also an excellent starting point for visiting the theme parks or setting off on a bike ride to Mantua along the scenic cycle path.

Gardaland and theme parks

Travelling with your family? Don’t miss the theme parks around Lake Garda. Gardaland, Movieland and Caneva Aquapark are just minutes away. Fun is guaranteed for all ages, from rollercoasters and shows to water slides and adventure rides. In summer, parks are open in the evenings too, for thrilling days.

The area around the campsite is ideal for cycling enthusiasts. You can cycle along the Mincio cycle path, which links Peschiera to Mantua as it follows the river, or explore the morainic hills, winding through vineyards and along scenic roads. Don't have a bike? You can rent one directly at the campsite. The routes are suitable for everyone, including children.

Water sports on Lake Garda

Do you love water sports? The lake is perfect for you. Just a few minutes from our campsite, you can enjoy activities such as SUP, kayaking and windsurfing, or go on a boat trip. With calm, crystal-clear waters, the lake is also ideal for those who simply want to go for a swim. You can book these activities nearby, with qualified instructors and equipment provided.

Hiking and nature around the campsite

If you love walking, you’ve come to the right place. Just a short walk from the campsite, you’ll find trails nestled in nature, amongst hills, woods and vineyards. The Mincio Park boasts peaceful, scenic routes perfect for all ages.
